How Often Should You Detail Your Car?
October 25, 2026 Alec n Niko
There is no single schedule that suits every car. How often you detail depends on how the car is used, where it is kept and how much the finish matters to you.
A sensible rhythm
For most daily drivers, a full detail once or twice a year, with lighter maintenance visits in between, keeps the car in good shape. Cars kept outdoors, or driven in harsh conditions, benefit from more frequent attention.
Between details
- Wash gently with clean mitts and plenty of water.
- Avoid automatic brush washes that can leave fine scratches.
- Wipe up bird droppings and bugs quickly, as they can mark the paint.
- Keep the interior free of loose dirt that wears at seats and carpets.
When in doubt
If the paint looks dull or the cabin feels tired, it is probably time. Send us a request and we will suggest the right service.
